Biography
Just like an explosion, a bullet fired at point-blank range, the "sonic" attack of Sonic Assassin strikes right to the heart, taking no prisoners! Born from the remains of the legendary A-10 and Yage, cult band of the early 90ies, Sonic Assassin are THE punk revelation of the moment. Under the spiritual guidance of Kent Steedman(Celibate Rifles) and after 2 extremely intense years of hard work (1999-2001) topped with a long series of tour in France,Italy and Spain, Sonic Assassin gave birth to "State Is Enemy Forever", a genuine concentrate Displaying the exciting progresses made since their birth in 1999 and shamelessly givin' aways their influences: Radio Birdman, Sonic's Rendezvous Band, Stooges, MC5, Sonic Assassin create a perfect balance ( o mixed a perfect blend) of new songs and breathtaking covers. Speaking of which...absolutely devastating are "Murder City Nights" (Radio Birdman) and "Sonic Reducer" (Dead Boys). Thanx to the exceptional technical caliber of Sonic Assassin, Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman) and Scott Morgan (Sonic's Rendezvous Band, The Ratinals, Hydromatics...) have selected them as backing band for the punk re-union; Tek and Morgan live 2001 WATCH OUT......THEIR COMING TO YOUR TOWN!!! |
