Seattle Rock is not dead and All Time High play Rock n Roll true to the Northwest torrential tradition. Infusing elements of Blues, West Coast Garage, Old School Punk and Psychedelic 70's flavored riffs laced with an undeniable pop sensibility, All Time High (with their collective head in the clouds) survey the stratosphere propelled by guitar driven melodies and a penchant for higher states of mind.
Recorded and mixed by legendary Seattle producer Jack Endino, (Nirvana, TAD, Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees) the aptly titled 12 song debut "Friends in High Places" was recorded in an unadulterated 5-day session and features guest appearances by Mr. Endino and Van Conner (Screaming Trees). Veterans of considerable pedigree, All Time High have spent the last decade cutting their teeth playing in bands that have touted members of such Northwest heavies as Screaming Trees, TAD and Seaweed (VALIS, Kitty Kitty, Gardener) and have released albums on such notable labels as Sub-Pop, Man's Ruin and Small Stone. Not content to simply ride the coat tails of their friends and mentors, All Time High formed in 2005 and have been steadfast in the trenches ever since playing shows with the likes of Helios Creed/Chrome, Sound of Urchin, The Spores, Mos Generator and The Valley.
Inspired by the evocative legacy of their Northwest predecessors and mining their vast and dusty record collections for obscure nuggets and forgotten classics, All Time High are loyal to the blood and guts of Rock n Roll while keeping one eye keenly focused on the future. From The Wipers to Radio Birdman to Pink Floyd (even!) these guys hug the curves in hi-fi stereo fashion and "bring it" to the live shows.
The release of "Friends in High Places" is slated for release in early 2009 on Nicotine Records with tours of Europe and America to follow. Come to the shows. Get the album. Give All Time High a listen and see if they don't leave you demanding another hit.
