Bad News went down to the basement with two guitars (no bass) and a minimal drum set at the end of summer 2004, in Italy.
In the past, a lot of time was spent listening to bad-rustling records.So Andrea, Pave e Chris decided to add a little bit more of non-sense to their lives: it was time to start and to warm hands, playing a strange hybrid musical style, mostly based on blues and rock n' roll. With obvious punk-rock splinters, of course...
And so, Bad News start recording their first tunes. Sack O' Shit Records,an american label, wanted them for "Cops Are Coming" in the summer of 2005.It's an incredible debut 7 inches, 500 copies pressed in Memphis,Tennessee.
Yeah, the same place where Elvis did live...Rock n'roll...Always. "Cops are coming", "Bank Robbing Fever" and "She's so Nigger" came out on SOS
records.
At the same time, Squirrel Records in Leeds decided to put "Heartbreak State Prison",a Bad News' three-chords track,on a rn'r compilation cd.Released in UK, hits-ville. Glory.
By the way. Italian label Nicotine Records, tired of this xenomania, calls the Bad News. Ok, alright. Well done: now it's coming out
soon "Requiem for a Typewriter", their first album. Something left? Have a bad listening and
