FALSE ALARM is our band from 1983, which never really got started back then to much because the members became invoved with the Los Angeles Punk Rock gangs, drugs and alcohol and bad people. We've been going on and off again for the last two decades. The latest record, 'FUCK 'EM ALL WE'VE ALL READY (NOW) WON!" features guest appearences by CHEETAH CHROME ( DEAD BOYS ), RICK WILDER ( BERLIN BRATS and MAU MAUS ) , DE DE TROIT ( UXA ). The album cover is by DEE DEE RAMONE and FALSE ALARM guitarist, PAUL KOSTABI.
The previous record featured FAT MIKE (of NOFX) who played in the band in the 80's. We are really happy with the sound and feel of the new album. I'm wanna start working on some new stuff in a bit even though DYLAN MAUNDER has passed away. we dont have a singer now but im planning to record a song with paul and rick wilder and a new drummer cus art cant go to new york .so rick will sing on that one. that will be the first song for a new album. and maybe rick will sing at some live shows with us too... I'm ready to being working on some new stuff. eventualy not to far away will get something going .. in the meen time im working on writeing a book about the los angeles punk rock gangs of the early 80s and someother stuff cus thats all i can think of to work on now and one other thing ill have a web fanzine up soon with all my old interviews including my EL DUCE interview . wich was his last interview , wich im going to also release on CD cus its so funny but i wanna edit it first or find someone who knows how to do that or whatever cus he says so many horrible things about people .so thats whats going on besides trying to put the band back .. anyhow if anyones from hollywood and wants to jam on some songs let me know i alsow wanna make a side band maybe something like angry samoans kinda stuff and all.
